On 25 October 2017, Andrej Novak contributed to the upcoming study „Ukraine in the Eyes of Germany“ by the German government agency for international cooperation GIZ (Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) by making himself available for an in-depth interview in the Munich office of GIZ conducted by competent staff from Germany and Ukraine.

Andrej Novak was one of 44 leading German experts on Ukraine interviewed for the study, which is supposed to be published in early 2018.
